Doctor vs. FNP-c
Some of you may wonder why we don’t call our medical professionals Doctors, and instead call them FNP-c’s.
A Nurse Practitioner can do anything a doctor can at a general clinic or family clinic. They are able to diagnose, write prescriptions, and run their own clinic. Nurse Practitioners focus more on health prevention and health education in all areas of medicine.
You may accidentally call our certified Family Nurse Practitioners Doctors, but no need to worry. Our medical professionals prefer to have close relationships with their patients, and many of them enjoy being called by their first name.
